Although hair loss rarely needs to be treated on a medical basis, many individuals choose to seek out treatment for cosmetic reasons. This is not surprising as we live in a world where appearance seems to affect our everyday life and feeling inadequate can negatively affect a person’s self–esteem which will directly impact other areas of that person’s life.
Some types of hair thinning and baldness can in fact be treated with medication or a change in lifestyle but more often than not a more invasive intervention is needed. That is where we come in! We offer a range of proven hair loss treatments and therapies form hair grafting to hair transplants. We also perform less invasive methods of hair restoration for example our Hairfusion treatment and our natural hair extension treatment.

Variety of Treatments for Hair Restoration
A dermatologist called DR. Okuda developed hair restoration surgery all the way back in 1939. Dr Okuda came up with a new way of repairing injuries to the scalp and hair loss caused by burns. His method was to take out small sections of hair-bearing tissue and implant them into biopsied holes where the hair had been damaged. Once the hair grafts had healed the hair started to grow.
A couple of years later, Dr Tamura, another dermatologist, came up with a new hair replacement surgery technique which used hair grafts made up of one, two or three hairs. The technique that Dr Tamura developed isn’t very different from the hair restoration surgery which is used today.
Hair restoration surgery can restore hair which has been lost due to a number of different factors. The cost, time and recovery time is different for everyone who undergoes the surgery. Our hair loss specialists are able to examine your hair and find out the reason why it has been thinning or falling out. Once the cause has been found they can advise you on treatments.
